About Me
Welcome!
My passion for community and masterful communication fully flourishes in my role as a digital journalist and multimedia producer at WUSA 9 in Washington D.C. In my position, I galvanize my skills and innovative brainstorming to produce breaking news and feature digital stories alongside a star-studded team for the DMV community.

My talents span from digital and TV journalism and communications to print. I've honed my abilities in roles from working as a line producer for the award-winning local, PBS-broadcasted half-hour newscast Cronkite News, as well as throughout my college experience, as a result of becoming an Emma Bowen Foundation Fellow. The competitive fellowship involved years working as a multi-faceted producer in training at top 15 market FOX 2 News in Detroit, where I excelled in the fundamentals of writing, pitching, web, social media and production. I've also developed these same skills as a reporter at the Arizona Republic newspaper and trained segment producer at top 11 market NBC 12 News in Phoenix.

In the after-hours of exciting professional endeavors, my hobbies include keeping up with current events, checking out the latest touring musical or ballet and visiting museum exhibitions. One of my greatest passions is traveling and learning as much as possible about new communities, as well as exploring new restaurants – because nothing speaks to a culture like food!
And we're live!
